I am disheartened that so many Australians do not trust Indonesia to kill cattle – but do trust Malaysia to jail refugees.

Stuart: It’s a slightly unfair comparison, since animals are innocent and refugees are. . . oh, wait.

I’m not sure it’s a matter of trust, exactly… I think that we (Australians) have been coerced into a bizarre hatred or intolerance of “boat people”, and we just want to get rid of them and get them out of the way! But nobody’s really got anything against cows!

And cows are shifty. You know they’re looking at us, getting slowly hungrier. . .
