Temeraire: Tongues of Serpents

Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oi! Oi! . . . . oh.

The book takes place in Australia, but it certainly doesn’t make you want to go back in time and visit. The rest of this review is at Comfy Chair, where I get paid for it.

Ooh! more Temeraire I haven’t read…… now do I go paperback, or Kindle?

Stu: Interesting you should mention your Kindle. My dad sat me down to show me his Kindle last night, and I suddenly understood what everyone has been going on about all this time 🙂 There’s a kindle-related daily awesomeness coming up in the next couple of weeks, I think.

paperback, delivered to AU for $7.26?? No brainer despite the 10 day delivery estimate!

and hardcover of Crucible of Gold for $20 should keep me going for a couple of weeks 🙂

That’s pretty much where I end up as a result. I already have Tongues of Serpents, but I’m soon ordering Crucible of Gold.

      • Louise Curtis said,

W: I don’t think there are any spoilers in my “Crucible of Gold” review. No more than the usual back-of-book “this is the basic plot” stuff, anyway.

    • Louise Curtis said,

      Stu: Mmm. . . cheap books. . .
