“The Farthest Shore” by Ursula LeGuin
I’m sorry to say that this is the weakest book of the trilogy. There is a fourth book that is weaker still, that I’ve chosen not to re-read. The rest of this review is at Comfy Chair, where I get paid for it.
Who is Felicity Banks?
I’m a writer of The Antipodean Queen trilogy, the Rahana trilogy, and many interactive tales including Murder in the Mail, Magic in the Mail, and the Shooting Through escape rooms (currently non-operational due to COVID-19).

Given the intense popularity of the whole series, you are clearly in the majority, She *IS* a great author.
